Jeff Hardy is said to have turned down WWE’s offer to go to rehab

As previously reported, Jeff Hardy has been released by WWE. It appeared the company had no choice but to let him go after he reportedly refused to go to rehab.

Sean Ross Sapp reported“I heard WWE offered to help Jeff Hardy and his addiction, but that was not accepted. Here’s hoping things get better for him. “

Hardy has faced similar problems in the past and the most prominent example was when he wrestled for TNA Wrestling. At Victory Road 2011, Hardy showed up to the match against Sting without being able to perform and Eric Bischoff had to call a sound controller to ask Sting to end the match early.

Hardy has since said in interviews that he has cleaned up his life but admitted that it hurts a lot when he wrestles and that he can no longer do some of the high-risk moves that he he did when he was young. Hardy has talked about his dirt bike accident from 2015 being the source of a lot of his painful problems. Hardy has won a regular schedule of live events since WWE’s return to the streets a few months ago.

We wish him well on his latest personal affairs.
