James Pearce rightly pointed out after the game that Liverpool’s streak of scoring two or more goals in a single game ended in a tweet following a belated 1-0 win.
The vision of Mo Salah et al. Not scoring a goal against the winner of Divock Origi will confound fans by our mastery of late on target, although three points won will certainly take center stage.
The bad news is #LFC failed to score 2 or more points in a game for the first time since august……..

In fact, we wouldn’t want to see Liverpool rely on one last-gasp winner of the week, especially with this term’s title race appearing to be a close tussle between ourselves, Manchester City Chelsea.
We have no doubt that the great organizational work done by Bruno Lage is largely responsible for the lack of goals rather than the sudden drop in form from our often deadly frontline and we sure there is nothing to worry about going forward.
However, we expect to see a reaction from Mo Salah and colleagues. Come meet us with Stefano Pioli’s men at the San Siro, should any of our world-class trio be selected again for the Champions League group stage game.
