Jalen Green was geeked by a kid in a camp exercise (video)

Jalen Green attempted to boot up a camper, but the Rockets star got more than he bargained for when the boy put the guard on skates as a sophomore.

There was a lot to like about what Jalen Green showed Houston missiles in his rookie season last year. Sure, he had his growing pains like any player his age when asked to be a focal point of the team. That being said, his offensive prowess was undeniable and it’s been fun to watch the franchise for years to come.

Assuming, of course, he doesn’t keep breaking campers’ ankles in the offseason.

While helping out at a camp and doing one-on-one exercises with the kids, Green let a teenager ride on him. But when the camper pulled out an admittedly rather nasty fake, the Rockets guard bit it hard, leaving him sprawled while the kid sunk an easy shot to the rim.

That’s definitely not going to happen NBA Fans who have criticized Green’s defense up to this point have less fodder to use against him…

All in all, however, this is nothing more than a hilarious offseason moment for Green. We have seen such things from numerous players in the past. Perhaps one of the most viral was when Jordan Crawford — yes, that Jordan Crawford — hid LeBron James at a camp when he was in high school.

That’s not the only thing, but when you put an NBA player with kids, they don’t take it very seriously and that makes them vulnerable to something like that. It’s embarrassing, but certainly not a referendum on her ability.

Still, this camper will have the right to show off for a long, long time.
