New changes have been introduced by the FIA in terms of pre-race conference times for the 20 drivers on the grid along with their 10 team principals. After much driver resentment, the FIA came up with this change.
Since this season, the press conference has taken place every Friday morning before a race. Since the FIA moved the press conference back to the regular Thursday, not everyone will be addressed.

David Croft has a heartwarming message for Lewis Hamilton
British Formula 1 commentator David Kroft had a heartwarming message ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s home race at Silverstone. The exchange in question took place at the pre-race conference hosted by the FIA, along with the new changes made to the schedule.
7-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton was joined by AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, Williams’ Nicholas Latifi and Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu at the pre-race conference at Silverstone. Here he was greeted with questions from renowned SkySports F1 commentator David Croft.

Hamilton asked Croft why he was in the press room. To which Croft replied: “It’s allowed now. It’s a new look. Honestly, it’s not just because you’re here today. And I’ve missed you.” Hamilton concluded by confirming that he had never seen Croft in the press room over the years.
