The Denver Broncos earned a massive upgrade ahead of the 2022 season when they traded veteran quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks. The 33-year-old quarterback has been a proven top-level performer for several years and also wants to add to his Super Bowl tally starting in 2013.

The Broncos released five draft picks and three players to secure Russell Wilson, a move that perfectly portrayed their desperation to bring him into the franchise. Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett is extremely pleased with the signing and is keen to work closely with Wilson.

The veteran NFL head coach made it crystal clear that Russell Wilson will have an important say in their offensive plans and on-court games as the new season begins, and they’ve been planning ahead in that regard.

It’s understandable that Hackett would be pumped with the arrival of a top-notch quarterback in the franchise, having had to settle for Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, both of whom are decent in their day but definitely fall short of Russell Wilson’s stature.

As soon as we know him, understand him, we will build [the offense] around him. So what will it be? It will be what Russell likes to do,Hackett said in an interview with NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero at the Annual League Meeting.

Nathaniel Hackett also felt that the franchise would benefit greatly from his and Wilson’s past experiences. They are two seasoned fighters and who knows what it will be like when they team up to share offensive ideas for the Denver Broncos.
