Tyler Reddick recognized the work of BMR’s No. 48 team and the progress they have shown since the organization began by adding the win is a big deal to him. He added that working with BMR in the last two races and improving the car has been a great opportunity for him.

It’s a big thing for me. I know how hard everyone at Big Machine Racing has worked to get from where they started to where they are today. Being a part of that in the last two races and working to make the car better has been a huge opportunity for me‘ said Tyler Reddick.

Tyler Reddick further expressed his delight at their ability to claim victory at Texas Motor Speedway by saying that an early race failure and subsequent damage they sustained at Darlington in his last Xfinity race with BMR left him and his fast car coasted win. He went on to say that he thinks it’s really important to be on the road to victory here in Texas and to do well, adding that he thinks it’s pretty cool what they were able to achieve after Darlington.

We were very fast and we only made a mistake late in the race… very early in this race we suffered a lot of damage to our car. In order for us to recover after the Darlington run, it was really, really important to come out here and run well. … It’s pretty cool that we could go to work after Darlington and next time sit out here with the trophy, added Tyler Reddick.

Tyler Reddick is hoping to use this win as immense momentum that can help him clinch his first career Cup Series victory alongside the $1 million prize pool at the Oval on Sunday.
