Two title fights make up a stacked, star-filled night of action at UFC 276, the bulk of UFC’s International Fight Week. Israel Adesanya vs. Jared Cannonier Main Events.

For the first time in three years, UFC’s International Fight Week returns to its normal July home, with the special attraction being the UFC 276 event, taking place on Saturday, July 2 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas takes place.

The evening’s main event has the UFC Middleweight Championship at stake as Israel defends Adesanya against Jared Cannonier.

This is Adesanya’s fifth defense of the UFC’s 185-pound title since winning it from Robert Whittaker at UFC 243. Adesanya is undefeated at middleweight, his only MMA loss coming when he attempted to fight for the light heavyweight title. As a UFC champion, Adesanya has recorded victories over Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori, as well as a rematch with Whittaker.

Cannonier has won five of his last six, beating Derek Brunson at UFC 271. Cannonier also has notable wins against Kelvin Gastelum, Jack Hermansson and Anderson Silva.

The co-main event will feature the trilogy featherweight title fight between champion Alexander Volkanovski and challenger Max Holloway.

The two first met at UFC 245, a map where Volkanovski made a unilateral decision to dethrone Holloway as the featherweight champion. The two met in a rematch on Fight Island at UFC 251, with Volkanovski winning a closer and controversial decision.

Since then, Volkanovski has successfully defended the gold against Brian Ortega and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, while Holloway notched wins over Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez.

The remainder of UFC 276’s main card includes Sean Strickland vs. Alex Pereira (the only man to ever beat Adesanya in kickboxing), Robbie Lawler vs. Bryan Barbarena, and Pedro Munhoz vs. Sean O’Malley.

The undercard is also riddled with names, including Jim Miller vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Brad Riddell vs. Jalin Turner, Uriah Hall vs. Andre Muniz, and Jessica Eye vs. Maycee Barber.

Note that at the time of printing It is reported that Lawler vs. Barbarena will be moved to the main map from the prelims. No word on which early preliminary round bout will be moved to the later preliminary rounds.
