Isaiah Stewart’s feelings towards LeBron James, revealed

It’s been almost a week since Detroit Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart participated in a ugly incident with LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers. Stewart has now served a two-match suspension for his antics during what was almost a scuffle between the two teams and at this point it looks like the 20-year-old has had plenty of time to think about his action.

According to Pistons head coach Dwane Casey, Stewart is currently regretting his decision to attack LeBron after being hit by a silly punch from the Lakers superstar (h/t) Melissa Rohlin by Fox Sports):

Stewart couldn’t control his emotions at the time and he literally lunged at LeBron multiple times as his Pistons teammates held him back. It’s good that he’s awake now because the optics don’t seem too good for him right now.

It’s interesting to note that the Pistons and Lakers went head to head in a rematch on Sunday night. Stewart will be facing off against LeBron for the first time since the incident and it will be interesting to watch their interactions in the game. Then again, given Stewart’s regretful stance, it wouldn’t be surprising if the pair settled the score even before kick-off.
