Is the Assault Rifle MK-Seven in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2?

With a maximum of 24 damage and a magazine size of 35 rounds, it’s easy to see why the MK-Seven assault rifle has become a fan favorite in Fortnite. First introduced in Chapter 3 Season 1, the weapon has become a feared weapon that fights the most. However, by the time Chapter 3 Season 2 has finally debuted, MK-Seven wonder why they rarely see the weapon.

Simply put, at the time of writing, the MK-Seven is in Chapter 3 Season 2, but it seems like it wasn’t meant to be. Developer Epic Games revealed a list of all new and returning weapons in Season 2 and the AR is surprisingly not listed – convincing fans they’ve been vaulted. Although, as first pointed out by Fortnite leaker iMonkeyFire, those who tented the MK-Seven last season report that the weapon is still there for them.

There is of course an exception to this workaround. The leaker pointed out that almost all of the weapon’s rarities, including Legendary, can be reused, but those who have The Foundation’s Mythic MK-Seven in their tents will sadly find that it’s gone.

It is currently not clear whether or not finding the weapon out of tents is a bug. While this is still possible, players may be able to defeat those who have the weapon and keep them in their own tents for safekeeping.
