Is Digimon Survive in English?

Digimon is a Japan based franchise so it was created to be in Japanese before being released anywhere in the world. When the franchise first hit it big in the late ’90s, everything released worldwide got at least an English dub and translation. As the series’ popularity waned, dubs became increasingly rare. Digimon World Order was the last known game in the series to get a dub since Digimon Survive, but does that mean Survive has an English dub?

Does Digimon Survive have an English dubbing?

The audio and voice output in Digimon Survive is only in Japanese with no English dub. It’s rare that a game like Digimon Survive gets a full English rewrite. Not only has the popularity of the Digimon franchise waned in the United States and Europe, but Survive is also a visual novel, a niche genre in America, and rarely, if ever, is it fully translated into English.

All subtitle languages

In the North and South American versions of the game, there are four subtitle languages ​​- English, French, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish. These languages ​​represented the most commonly spoken dialects in the Americas, including all of North, Central, and South America.

The in-game Portuguese claims to be the Brazilian version. There is a distinct difference between the Portuguese spoken in Brazil and the Portuguese spoken in Portugal. The inclusion of Brazilian Portuguese will no doubt make many Brazilian players happy. Italian and Garman subtitles are included in European versions of Digimon Survive.
