Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, recently gave birth to her own baby girl, Holland, and just posted a sweet photo of the two sharing a moment together.
“So much fall landfill waste to be thrown away,” she wrote alongside a series of photos on Instagram, although it’s the first that touches me deeply. In the picture, the model and author beams at her baby girl as she breastfeeds her in a ridiculously cute, sun-filled bedroom. This could be a Renaissance painting.
She shares Holland with her boyfriend, musician RAC (you may remember the stripper-themed baby shower), and I’d like to think he took the photo of his two ladies, because it’s sweet and sweet and kind and adorable and so on things. It is all things! I want to call my mother, I want to adopt twelve kittens, let’s enjoy beautiful things that are beautiful.
Other images at the dump include a coffee shop moment between father and daughter, Holland chilling in a tiny sweater, cookies, small dogs and big dogs. Actually, the autumn mood is flawless. The post sparked countless comments, including one from Ireland’s famous father who wrote “I love you.” Another beautiful thing that is beautiful.
Ireland Baldwin continues to share snippets of her life online, despite some dubious feelings about social media, because she’s growing her business (she has a restaurant in Oregon) and because deleting your Instagram account is kind of annoying. As she explained in a post in June“I tried deleting my Instagram last night because I just reached a weird breaking point.”
“I kept Instagram for so long because I clung to the idea that I was wasting brand opportunities for the sake of transparency. Since I literally have to request deletion of my profile (which doesn’t work), I guess I’ll stay and make the best of it,” she added. “I love connecting with all of you, laughing and getting insights into my little life. I will be more active on the @goodtimes Instagram as our company grows.”
