Inkbound is an early access turn-based multiplayer roguelike with a major update available now

We appreciate that the title for this game is a bit muddled, but that follows the example of Inkbound’s Own Description: It is an Early Access turn-based multiplayer tactical action roguelike set in a magical world where the written word comes to life. So this headline could actually have been even longer.

Bound in ink comes from Shiny Shoe, the studio behind the rougelike deck builder monster train, in which the studio seeks to bring its gameplay brand to an online world. In Bound in ink Up to four players can strategize and combine their abilities synergistically, with the pace of play allowing for quick decisions or more measured tactical thinking depending on the situation, all while exploring book-based portals to different worlds.

The game released one of its biggest updates to date in the form of last week The Starship of Terrors patch, which brings with it a new Star Captain aspect, a new abandoned starship realm, new trinkets and daily challenges, and a long line of quality of life changes and bug fixes. The update continues to be celebrated with sales on the game itself and cash shop items.
