A viral TikTok video shows two customers shouting at each other during an In-N-Out drive after one of them allegedly interrupted the line.
TikToker Daniel Caraballo (@dancaraballo) recorded the footage while also on the drive-thru stream and shared it on social media platforms. Caraballo captioned the video, “When that Burger In & Out craving goes CRAZY!”
Two customers driving, a man and a woman, could be heard shouting angrily at each other as their windows fell. The man, who appeared to be the cord cutter, was dragged to the cashier’s window while the woman was parking her car right behind him.
“Shut up,” the man yelled at the woman twice, when she immediately shouted back, “You’re an asshole.”
The man then appears to be talking to the cashier at the driver’s window, which prompts the woman to scream, “Don’t take his damn orders, are you kidding me?”
When she received no response, she remained fairly quiet but could be seen reaching out her hand exasperatedly out of the car window. Finally, she stuck her head out the window and turned around to ask the drivers behind her.
“I just want people to know that this guy cut every single one of you, they’re still following his orders, and he doesn’t care at all,” she said. Then, speaking to the person who cut the line, she yelled, “You cut at least 20 people.”
At that point, the man shouted again, “Can you be quiet?” This led to another shouting match between the two before the man drove off.
The video has received about 1.5 million views and more than 6,600 comments as of Tuesday. Viewers sided with the female customer.
“The girls are amazing and I wish I could be like that. She’s speaking for everyone else in the line and you know she’s going to talk back to Karens,” one viewer commented on the video.
“I mean she can say it because she’s next, she spoke out with respect to the people behind her.. good for her, even though it seems outrageous.” another viewer wrote.
Another said, “Me with her – queuing and waiting like everyone else!!!!!”
Some viewers call out the road cutter – not only to cut, but to make viewers scream back.
“In fact he was wrong and had the courage to yell back at her. Me with her this time,” one user wrote.
Others testified that people living in California know the pain of waiting on an In-N-Out drive. Some viewers said that when working at In-N-Out, they would not take orders from people in line.
“For all of you visiting California.. don’t cut the In-n-out line. Most people would react like this. There are no limits,” said one viewer.
Another commented, “Those who are against her definitely don’t know the struggle of living in California and waiting in line at In-N-Out.”
Based on EatThis.comThe popular burger chain is now present in seven US states: California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Oregon.
One user wrote, “As a great employee, I always ask the people who cut the line to go back or walk away if they refuse.”
