Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Bulletin says there is “no way” Triple H competes at WrestleMania 38.
WWE is withdrawing all stops for WrestleMania 38, the two-night event on April 2-3. From Ronda Rousey competing for the SmackDown Women’s Championship to social media star Logan Paul making his debut in the match. Even 76-year-old WWE president Vince McMahon also rumored to have a match at the show against sports media star Pat McAfee.
In the latest episode of Wrestling observatory, Bryan Alvarez asked if there was a chance Triple H could compete at the company’s biggest show of the year. Dave Meltzer denied this possibility, citing Triple H having heart problems.
“No, Triple H would be a terrible idea,” Meltzer said, h/t WrestlingNews.co. “His heart situation was, he couldn’t. I don’t want to say never because that’s not fair because maybe he could do something but that would be a horrible idea for him and it won’t happen in a year. now on. There’s no other way.”
‘Impossible’ Triple H competes at WrestleMania 38
Back in September WWE Announcement Triple H underwent a medical procedure after suffering a heart event. The company said in their statement that the event occurred due to an inherited heart problem.
Since this event, Triple H has not overseen the NXT 2.0 brand. Shawn Michaels took on those responsibilities.
The last time Triple H officially competed in a WWE ring on television was in 2019 at Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he lost to Randy Orton. His final game at WrestleMania came that same year, where he defeated Batista in a no-hurt match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
While McMahon may or may not compete at WrestleMania, Meltzer says there is no chance for Triple H to compete at WrestleMania this year.
