Jimmie Johnson added that he feels ecstatic and ready for the Indy 500 and went on to explain what he’s been through over the past year to make that dream a reality. He said he felt his dreams would never come true, but after last year’s Indy 500 he started the process it took him to start racing, both at the team shop and at home. But when I look back just 12 months ago, there was no chance of that.” added Jimmie Johnson.
Jimmie Johnson claimed he feels quite at home at Indy having done so many laps of the track both in the simulator and in his mind, saying: “I ran so many laps in the SIM, did so many laps in my head, I was up early and ready to get it over with. I feel quite at home here“.
