Looks like a martial arts legend Heinrich Cejudo not enjoying retirement given how much moderation there has been in the competition over the last two years and someone once said it right – this game has layers. Cejudo, the former UFC two-division champion, retired from MMA in April 2020 after becoming the first human to defeat the former WEC UFC bantamweight champion Dominic Cruz.

Cejudo just tweeted after UFC 273 happened last night. He basically wrote “I’m going back to the pool!” suggesting he may return to drug testing under the US Anti-Doping Agency, as all active athletes are, to compete at the highest level like doping Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Cejudo was a former flyweight and bantamweight champion while his student Deiveson Figueiredo is the sitting flyweight champion, Cejudo has expressed interest in fighting bantamweight and featherweight, more in the latter division where he has a chance to become the first person to win UFC belts in 3 different weight divisions. The current UFC featherweight and bantamweight champions, Alexander Volkanovski and Aljamain Sterling Both have reciprocated with Cejudo’s interests in fighting for their titles and are therefore open to that fight should it go out.

What do you think of Henry Cejudo announcing a return to the drug testing pool? Do you think Cejudo will come back for sure? Who should Cejudo fight? Cejudo is definitely one of the greats when it comes to martial arts coverage, having received top accolades in both freestyle wrestling and mixed martial arts, and now he has no hesitation in passing his knowledge on to those who might have to admit it come to him. That sure is a pioneer in manufacturing.
