‘I’ll be ready’ Former UFC welterweight Mike Perry believes a potential fight with Jake Paul is still a possibility

Former UFC welterweight fighter Mike Perry is excited to face Jake Paul in the boxing ring. Although there was repeated talk of a boxing match between the two due to scheduling conflicts, it never happened. However, after the cancellation of the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight, things were looking up.

Mike has competed in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) as a middleweight fighter. He is also known for being unbeaten since retiring from the UFC in 2021. Although he’s been competing at BKFC for a while, defeating Michael “Venom” was one of the most notable wins of his recent career. He also clinched a win over professional boxer Michael Seals in November 2021. With these highly successful victories, “Platinum” is targeting a big fish for its next opponent.

The big fish is none other than internet sensation Jake Paul. It has been suggested by some trusted sources that the former UFC welterweight has been eyeing a boxing match against the boxer-turned YouTuber for some time. Jake did not provide information due to scheduling conflicts. Separately, the fight against the British boxer was recently called off, which could be a blessing in disguise for the BKFC contender.

“I think it was for mid-February; I don’t know what I can and can’t say because I want it to happen, but there should be a really cool place and that intrigued me, so I think it will happen. If it’s mid-February I’ll be ready. I’m ready for this weekend. I’ll keep working, do roadworks, lift some weights, eat healthy and just keep eating and staying hungry. This is me. That’s what I do.” Mike Perry told MMA Fighting. So far there has been no update from the problem child, but Perry has given his update on the matter.
