In an interview with Sky Sports, Ronaldo also conveyed that the new generation cannot handle real criticism and urged them to change their way of thinking. He added that if they continue with that mindset, then they have to do it “do their job“ and support the team through self-reflection.
“I remember some older players talking to me when I was 18 and I assumed I need to improve, they know more than me as they have more bad moments. This new generation generally doesn’t accept it when criticized. i am here to help If they need my support and advice, I will be the number one to help them. If you don’t want my help and advice, do your job, take care of yourself. Do your best to help the team.”
