‘I would hope so’ – Ryan Garcia expects to fall out with Canelo Alvarez after recent breakup, praises him as a great fighter » FirstSportz

Undefeated boxing prodigy and former interim WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia is not far from making his much-anticipated leap into the ring after a hiatus of more than a year. Garcia, who has already won all of his 21 fights with 18 knockouts, is looking forward to the fight Emmanuel Tagoe on April 9, 2022 in Texas, the state where he last fought in January 2021 when he won his first major title by knocking out the 2012 Olympic champion Luke Campbell with a body shot.

A veteran of more than 200 amateur fights before turning pro, Garcia has endured many ups and downs over the past year, which can be attributed to his mental and physical health over the years. Another major challenge Garcia overcame in this fight is his split from his longtime trainer Eddy Reynoso, the man behind great Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez.
Ryan Garcia thinks Canelo Alvarez is already a great person besides being a great boxer

Garcia gave an interview for DAZN USA to talk about how he would like to move on with Alvarez despite the back-and-forth that happened between the two after the breakup. Garcia talks about whether there are ways to ease the tensions and become allies again in the near future.
“I mean, I would hope so.” says Garcia “I would hope that we could come back and just be good friends because you know this was my special time in my life obviously as a little kid I went to the gym when I was 19 years old stayed there for about 5 fights over three and a half years – four years I think and you know that i appreciate the moments but obviously there is a new chapter now but i dont have it [any] hard feelings towards him. I wish him the best and I think he’s obviously a great, great person and a great fighter.”
What do you think of Garcia’s breakup with his Reynoso and differences with Alvarez? Do you think we can get this all-Mexican trio back together one day? Who do you think will win between Garcia and his opponent Emmanuel Tagoe?
