“I wasn’t happy” – WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam reveals his anger at working with Triple H » FirstSportz

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has expressed his dissatisfaction and resentment while working with “The Game” Triple H. Rob Van Dam was an important part of WWE during his tenure from 2002 to 2006. Rob Van Dam, affectionately known as RVD, won one of his first reigns as an Intercontinental Champion and his only reign as an ECW Champion.
Rob van Dam was also involved in some interesting storylines during his time in WWE. Some of the best storylines he was involved in involved Kane and John Cena. Van Dam was the victim of the emotionally unstable and psychopathic Kane, as he happened to be present in the ring when Kane first revealed himself. Van Dam also feuded with John Cena during the mid-2000 ECW Revival.

Rob Van Dam opens up about his anger at working with Triple H.
By mid-2002, Rob Van Dam had begun a feud with Triple H, then World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H’s interference had cost Van Dam losing his Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho, which continued to escalate, giving van Dam a shot at a world heavyweight championship at Unforgiven 2002, but ending on the losing side. Rob Van Dam and Triple H also crossed paths many times, with RVD ending up on the losing side each time.
The WWE Universe has regularly stated that RVD never got the Big Push during his time in WWE. In the past, RVD has stated that he never felt comfortable during his tenure in WWE.
Now, in a recent Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Rob Van Dam has expressed his frustrations about working with The Game.
Speaking of working with the company’s current Executive Vice President, Van Dam said:
“I remember being very humble. I think the fact, I win, I win, Triple H comes out, hits me over and over again with a pedigree. How many times do we have to tell this story about how there’s no way I can beat this guy?”.
“I wasn’t happy with the situation at the time. You see it more like, ‘It’s not fair, it’s just that [Triple H is] with the boss’ daughter,” you know, and there really are so many other variables that you just don’t take into account.
Nonetheless, Van Dam also credited “The Cerebral Assassin” for his activities in the ring.
“But looking back, I had great matches with him. He’s a really good wrestler. At the time, I don’t even think I could have admitted that just because I felt more like puffing up my chest and trying to fight for every inch I could get.”.
Critically underestimated, Rob Van Dam had the most outlandish athleticism with plenty of charisma during his tenure in WWE. The Hall of Famer has announced that he will be making his in-ring debut in CyberFight’s Pro Wrestling Noah on June 12th.
