Jake-Paul has proposed a new UFC bonus system where the winner of each fight gets a $50,000 bonus. It comes after every fight that secured a finish at UFC London last weekend received a performance bonus. Historically, only a selection of fighters on the map receive a $50,000 performance bonus, while two fighters also receive a bonus “Battle of the Night”.

But UFC boss Dana White was clearly in good spirits after completing a fantastic night for promotion in London and presented $450,000 in performance awards to the athletes who finished their bouts. Paul has campaigned for UFC fighters to be paid more and previously vowed to retire from boxing if White meets a list of demands. The 25-year-old is now thinking White should implement a new bonus system where each event will pay out $600,000 in performance bonuses.

“I love to see fighters get paid.” Paul wrote. “Idea: $50,000 bonus 4 for each winner / $600,000 per UFC event. 45 events, 12 fights, $27M total payout (2.7% of return on sales). If the winner doesn’t deserve it/boring fight, split the $50,000 among those who do on the map. More exciting fights, more pay. Good idea?

In addition to receiving a bonus for every win, Jake-Paul wants UFC fighters to receive a minimum payout of $50,000 per fight and receive 50 percent of the promotion’s profits, while also being guaranteed long-term health care after fight elimination. UFC owner Ari Emmanuel was forced to be released Paul’s Concerns over fighters’ pay for promotions during a media briefing last week, which said: “I’m not commenting on that. I think we did very well in terms of paying the fighters.”

Paul access to the call was allowed with Emmanuel after the investment a “Six-digit sum” in the UFC earlier this year. The YouTube star is hoping to invest in Endeavor stock “promote long-term economic value” by increasing the pay of UFC fighters and providing health care.

CFO Jason Lublin Expanded on the issue of fighter pay during the call, adding: “Since 2005, we’ve increased fighter salaries by 600 percent — we’re investing in the performance institutes, food and recovery business.”
