“I know he understands a lot” – Ryan Garcia surprised by Canelo Alvarez’s comments on his values ethics » FirstSportz

Boxing prodigy and former WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia is back in action after a 14-month break for physical and mental reasons. However, Garcia brings himself back into the ring without the trainer’s curves Eddie Reynoso and Society of Boxing’s Pound-for-Pound King Canelo Alvarez.

Garcia returns to the ring on April 9, 2022 to fight Emmanuel Tagoe from Ghana, in Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas, USA. Garcia, an undefeated boxer, last fought in January 2021 as a defeated Olympic champion Luke Camell via body shot knockout. Garcia now has a lot to prove that his elite competitors Gervonta Davis, Devin Heney, Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr. are already competing.
Ryan Garcia only focused on his fight against Emmanuel Tagoe, no longer cares about criticism from Canelo Alvarez

In the interview below MMA fights THE MMA LESSON with Ariel HelwaniGarcia discusses his upcoming fight and breaks up with Team Canelo [duet of Canelo Alvarez and his coach Eddy Reynoso]and also when asked if Alvarez knew under what circumstances Garcia wasn’t training why he then criticized Garcia for the lack of training program and competition.
“I was more confused and shocked because I know he is not clueless and understands many things.” said Garcia. “Well I didn’t quite get why he said that, but I really don’t care.”
“No, I know I’m crazy I’m crazy about how I work and how I’ve always worked throughout my career” said Garcia. “So none of that affected me. It was just kind of shocking because he knows what I’m going through so there was a reason I wasn’t in the gym and that’s why I decided to take a break from everything and make sure I’m doing it right…
It had nothing to do with my work ethic and you will see on April 9th how hard I actually work. You’ve seen my body, you’ve seen me fight, you don’t get like this if you don’t work hard, that’s for sure.” said Garcia. [h/t MMA Fighting]
What do you think of Garcia justifying his attitude towards his training and his reaction to Alvarez’s criticism? Who do you think is right? And who do you think will win between Alvarez and his upcoming opponent Dmitry Bivol and who between Garcia and his upcoming opponent Emmanuel Tagoe?
