“I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers,” Buccaneers’ WR Russell Gage posted on social media for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Cowboys

The Cowboys embarrassed the Buccaneers in the highly anticipated Wild Card Match. However, the Buccaneers team was more concerned about another incident in the game. During the game, wide receiver Russell Gage was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries.

In the last quarter of the game, the Buccaneers scored eight points, which was one point more than the Cowboys’ seven points. Despite knowing they were going to lose the math, the team gave it their all and in the process, Gage collided with Donovan Wilson, resulting in his concussion and neck injury.

The accident happened with minutes remaining; The team with Russell’s injury didn’t care much about the loss but wanted their teammate to be healthy.
