Quite a few sports games offer users the opportunity to take screenshots and photos of special moments and it’s no different in F1 22. Users can use the game’s photo mode and not just take a photo, but add effects and change the camera angle, and even the time of day. So how can you access this mode in F1 22 and take photos like a pro? Let’s take a look.
How to use photo mode
To access photo mode in F1 22, access the pause menu while racing. Then select the “Instant Replay/Flashback” tab to open the “Replay” section. Once you’ve done that, find a spot during the race where you want to take a picture. Users can use the triggers (LT/RT or L2/R2) to fast forward or rewind, while using the directional pad changes either the camera angle as well as the selected vehicle.

Now, to switch to photo mode, select a location and a driver, then press either Menu (for Xbox) or Options (for PlayStation). This opens up the area where users can play around with the shooting angle, depth of field, color effects, overlays, as well as the environments.
How to take photos
Once you’ve found the ideal angle and look, users can take a screenshot in F1 22 much like one would normally do on a console or platform. For example, Xbox users can press the home button and then click Y to take a screenshot. Steam users, on the other hand, can press F12 to take a photo, which will then be saved to your library.
A tip for taking photos is to make sure you’ve removed the Options tab on the bottom half of the screen. To do this, press either Y (for Xbox) or Triangle (for PlayStation) to do just that.
