How to unlock Cosmo Pavone in Vampire Survivors

Vampire Survivors Patch 0.10 brought (among other changes) a few secret characters for players to unlock. The vampire hunt pixel game can be challenging at the best of times, and the process of unlocking Cosmo Pavone is just another testament to that. But for those of you who don’t mind a challenge, read on and find out how to get your hands on this new secret character.

How to unlock secret character Cosmo Pavone in Vampire Survivors

To begin your journey to Cosmo Pavone, you must first obtain the Morbane Scrolls. Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive the following riddle: “Visit the fiery balcony in the Cappella Magna with a pure heart and two good friends.” This cryptic message can be a bit difficult to decipher, but we have the solutions for you.

“Pure Heart” refers to the character you attempt this achievement with without carrying a single golden egg. You’ll have to make sure you have one available without them, or you’d have to unlock a new character (e.g. the other new secret character) to attempt this achievement. Otherwise, disabling the Golden Eggs will not work. The best character for this would ideally be Exdash since he starts with either of the two ingredients you need.

Now the “Two Good Friends” part of the puzzle relates to Peachone and Ebony Wings. To do this, you’ll need both in your weapon inventory, and once that’s done, make your way to the Cappella Magna.

At Cappella Magna and with both feathered weapons, find the Flamethrower (Nduja Fritta Tanto) on the north side. Pick it up and use it to burn down the gates underneath. Follow the path through and you will reach the new character Cosmo Pavone.

The Effects of Cosmo Pavone in Vampire Survivors

Cosmo Pavone has some powerful effects. For example, he gets +1 Recovery and +1% Luck at every level. He also gains +1 revive every 100 levels. But that’s not all. Although he starts with no weapons, he is accompanied by Peachone and Ebony wings for free. This means they don’t take up weapon slots like they normally would.
