How to summon jellyfish in Elden Ring – Spirit Jellyfish Ashes location

To summon jellyfish in the Elden Ring, you need two things: Calling bells, and the ashes of the Jellyfish. You also need to play in single player mode. Receive Calling Bells from witch Renna at Elle Church (at night, and after you have Torrent), or else buy it from the Twin Maiden Husks merchant at Roundtable Hold. To get Spirit Jellyfish Ashes, you need to talk to Roderika at Stormhill Shack three times. The first time you talk to her, she will tell you that everyone she knows has grafted their body parts into a spider and will pose you in the Sit on the sidewalk pose. Talk to her again, and she’ll tell you how scared she is of having her body parts cut. Talk to her again and she’ll ask you to bring “this baby” with you, and you’ll get Spirit Jellyfish Ashes.

To summon jellyfish, first place the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes map in one of the slots in your pocket, then go to a summonable area. You’ll know when you’re in it because the tombstone icon will appear on the left edge of the screen. Now hold the Triangle / Y and press the D-pad in the direction that you have mapped the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes. This will summon a large spectral jellyfish that will fight on your behalf, though it will do so rather half-heartedly, to be honest.
