Note that similar to offline raids, cooperative raid progress is not saved at the end of the raid, regardless of whether players live or die. That means ammo, healing items, and everything else are free to use, but it also means players can’t progress through various quests or with loot. Still, this is an extremely helpful mechanic that players should take advantage of.

It should be noted that Battlestate Games has expressed a wish that one day all tiers will have access to Cooperative Raids. Battlestate Games has defended the current need for the Edge of Darkness stage by stating that Cooperative Raids take place on Escape from Tarkov’s servers, increasing the server load.
