As a gacha game, Tower of Fantasy doesn’t offer any guarantees that you’ll get everything you want the first or fiftieth time you roll for new characters, but there are systems in place that give you a few early decisions on how to build your team . The game has damage mechanics for some of its gacha mechanics, but you could still get spiked, so rerolling allows you to optimize your set early on so you can spend time mix-maxing from the get-go. Unfortunately, registration isn’t the cleanest process, so follow this guide to make it as easy as possible.
Reentry into Tower of Fantasy
There is no quick and dirty way to reroll in Tower of Fantasy. Once you get your first guaranteed SSR weapon (top rarity) at 30 Gold Nuclei Gacha moves, you have a decision to make: do you want to keep it? If not, it’s time to reroll. How to do it:
- Create a new account: Yes, rerolling requires a completely new account as you will need to completely reset your RNG. You’ll need a new email address and username each time, so set up dummy accounts until you get the weapon set you want.
- Complete the introductory quest: The gacha system is not available once you start a new account. Instead, you must complete the Ecological Station Intruders tutorial section, where you can start dragging. Make sure you collect all the rewards, backpacks, and mailboxes to have as many materials as possible.
- Start Dragging: You have two options at this point: just drag up to 30 Gold Cores standard banners, or take a little longer and drag the Compassion Banner with 80 banners. You are guaranteed a new SSR character at these two breakpoints. You can probably pull the 30 banner early as new accounts have easy access to Gold Nuclei. The 80 banner takes about an additional hour, as you’ll need to do some exploration to collect the additional required cores.
- To Reset or Not: Depending on what character you have in your 30 and 80 default banners, now is the time to decide if you actually want to reroll. If you haven’t mastered a character like Samir, KING, Meryl, or Cocoritter, you’ll probably want to start this whole process all over again, as these characters’ weapons are ideal no matter where you are in the game. Once you have the characters you want, link the email account you’re using to another service you use frequently, like Twitter, Facebook, or Google, so you can easily sign up.
If you choose to just reroll the Pity Banner with 30 gold cores, the entire reroll process should take around 30 minutes. For the 80 gold cores you need at least another hour or more. While this may seem like a cumbersome process, getting the weapon you want early on will save you a lot of heartache later on as the game gets more and more challenging as you progress.
