To create Soft Cotton, you will first need to have on hand the Nomad Warrior Cookbook [7]. This cookbook can be found in the northern part of Limgrave near StormVeil Castle. Head north and reach Stormhill Shack. Instead of taking the west route to Stormveil, continue north to the bridge. Yyou will see that the bridge has been destroyed. However, at the end of it is a piece of content with the cookbook on it.

Access the cookbook that will give you the recipe for the Soft Sponge Cake. You will need three Rowa fruits and a smoldering butterfly. You will most likely have these items in your inventory. Otherwise, the Rowa Fruit can be found throughout the wilds and appears as a red berry. Smoldering butterflies can be found around campfires.

If you’re curious about what you can use Soft Cotton for, the answer is stealth. Using Soft Cotton will apply it to your character’s feet and allow them to walk more quietly for a short time. This will increase their stealth and is very useful against enemies that can spot you easily. Soft cotton also reduces damage when you fall.
