Customizing your favorite purifier in Back 4 Blood will help your version stand out from the basic look they have at the start of the game. It’s not much, but we want the characters we play to look as good as possible, even if they get gallons of blood sprayed on them in each campaign level. Here’s how to equip the new Hazmat suit cosmetic in Back 4 Blood.

In order to unlock the new hazmat suits, you must own the first expansion for the game, Tunnels of Terror. To get it, you can either buy it separately for $15 full price, or own the Annual Pass, which gives you access to all three expansions for the first year of the game.
Once you own the expansion, open the Purifiers tab from the Fort Hope Base main menu. All of the Cleaners who debuted with the game’s launch have their own versions of the hazmat suit, but newer characters do not (Heng and Sharice).
The hazmat suits don’t protect your character any more than any other skins in the game, it’s just a cosmetic change that imagines what hazmat style any purifier would choose.
