To get the flying broomstick in Dying Light 2 you must first complete the broadcast story quest. Once you’ve done that, you can take the elevator to the roof of the VNC tower in the garrison zone and go to the east edge of the roof. If you look almost straight down, you’ll see another building with a crane on the roof. Drop off the ledge and slide down to this crane. If you miss the crane, you can climb it up from below, but that’s difficult. In any case, you want to reach the lower of the two square platforms at the top of the vertical part of the crane. There you will find a cluster of mushrooms.
Hold down the interact button to “turn on” the mushrooms. You have to do this multiple times; Each time the group of mushrooms gets bigger, and sometimes you have to hold down the button for a very long time. Eventually the prompt will change to “Turn on” to “Use” and when you “Use” the mushrooms you will start the Baba Yaga Parkour Challenge.

When you start the Baba Yaga Parkour Challenge you will ride a flying broomstick. But when you complete the challenge, you won’t have the broomstick anymore. Prior to update 1.2.0, there was a bug that allowed you to keep the broom by either exiting the game during the Baba Yaga Parkour challenge or taking the broom to your hideout during the challenge. Unfortunately, this bug has been fixed, so now you can only fly during the challenge and it is no longer possible to fly freely around Villedor forever.
