The tough minion in Final Fantasy XIV is an adorable dog that will follow you throughout your adventure. This trusty companion is one of the many minions you can add to your collection, and finding them can be a little tricky. A minion only drops in a specific location, and Chewy is no exception. In this guide we will cover how to get the Chewy pup minion in Final Fantasy XIV.

You can only get the tough minion by sending your follower on woodland explorations, specifically the XXVIII. You can access it by having the Endwalker extension on your client. As long as you have that and have reached level 90, you can send your henchman on these missions and wait for his return. These missions last 18 hours. When your henchman returns, you’ll need to see if he brought you a Chewy puppy. However, you cannot always expect to get this companion, so you will have to do it several times.

Alternatively, if you’d like to add Chewy to your collection, you can place your Data Center’s Market Board in the chest. There’s a chance someone in your data center posted a Chewy, but the price of this minion depends on your data center.
