How to get the blue and orange potatoes and what they are used for in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The world of Disney Dreamlight Valley is magical indeed, and what would a magical world be without a few mystical secrets to uncover within its realms? One of the mysteries discovered in Dreamlight Valley takes a somewhat unexpected form: potatoes. The first strange tuber, the Golden Potato, made an appearance in the game’s Halloween update, and the February Festival of Friendship update brought a new red potato into the mix. Those mysterious spuds have become relevant again in the game’s Pride of the Valley update by adding two new tricky taters: the Blue Potato And orange potato. Here’s everything you need to know to get up to speed on this Disney Dreamlight Valley pigmented potato chase.

Before you can collect them Blue Potatoyou must first collect both the golden potato And the red potato. Once you have completed these two tasks, you can see and collect the Blue Potato in Ursula’s house. You can easily teleport to Ursula’s house by talking to her, and once you’re there, the Blue Potato is very easy to find on the ground near her throne.

How to find the Orange Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Getting your hands on the Orange Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires a little more effort. To begin your quest for the Orange Potato, you should equip it Lenses of Shadows Goggle cosmetics previously obtained by completing the Scrooge’s Treasure Hunt questline, which you can do from the Wardrobe menu.

With the glasses equipped, you must then search and collect 20 Orange Pebbles. These pebbles can be found on the floor in each of the different realms accessed from the dream castle and also in Mickey’s hidden room. So many pebbles are hidden in each area that you need to collect:

  • The dream castle: 3 orange pebbles
  • Mickey’s Hidden Room: 3 orange pebbles
  • Frozen Empire: 3 orange pebbles
  • Moana Empire: 4 orange pebbles
  • Ratatouille Empire: 1 orange pebble
  • Toy Story Empire: 4 orange pebbles
  • The realm of WALL-E: 2 orange pebbles

These pebbles are quite small and very difficult to see in some of these realms as they don’t sparkle like other lootable items. Instead you have to look for a tiny orange rock on the ground and when you spot one a loot prompt will open and you can collect the rock. Once you’ve discovered all 20 golden pebbles, go to your crafting table and you’ll find that a new recipe is available that will allow you to use the pebbles to craft the Exalted orange potato.

Once you’ve crafted the Orange Potato, you’ll notice a new Electrifying Orange Potion recipe in the crafting recipe window that requires the orange potato and a empty vial to tinker, similar to that Angry Red Potion And Shiny Gold Potion You have previously crafted with the Golden and Red Potatoes. Once you’ve made the Electrifying Orange Potion, you’ve done everything you can do with the Orange Potato at that point.

The amazing Disney Dreamlight Valley community, particularly members of the Solving the Secrets group on the official Discord, are hard at work discovering the latest mysteries to unfold in the Valley. We will provide an update to this guide or a new guide as soon as there are more details to share on how to use these potato vials.
