How to get stone bricks and dust in V Rising

In the survival-crafter V Rising, players awaken from a centuries-long slumber as a vampire. Long ago their magnificent palaces eroded and succumbed to the enduring elements of age and neglect.

Therefore, upon awakening, vampires are ultimately tasked with restoring their former glory. This means players will end up using an absurd amount of bricks and stone dust. Bricks are passively produced within a production building, much like lumber from a sawmill, and the building necessary for the conversion is unlocked at around the same time. Stone dust is a by-product of this passive process.

If you open the build menu with “B” and then select the “Production” tab, followed by the “Refining” tab, players can see a building on the far right called the Grinder. This grinder, as the flavor text reads while hovering over it, will turn stone into stone bricks and dust over time, provided the lock heart is powered.

The Grinder requires 8 Planks, 4 Copper Ingots, and 4 Whetstones to craft. While planks are easy to construct at the Sawmill, Copper Ingots and Whetstones require a bit of an adventurous spirit.

For pre-made copper bars, players should visit the Bandit Copper Mine in Farbane Woods. It can be a bit of a struggle, but the area is second to none when it comes to finding and hoarding copper in general. Check chests and NPC loot for the necessary bars if you haven’t already unlocked the Blast Furnace.

For whetstones, again assuming the recipe wasn’t unlocked via Blood Hunt, a bandit camp offers a wealth of material. Check chests and NPC loot again to find the necessary materials.

Once the grinder is in place, the recipe is relatively simple. Twelve stones become a stone brick and a stone dust. This becomes a tedious work to get your gothic keep the way you see fit, but getting started is always the first step forward.
