How to get Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As you work through Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll collect various ingredients and materials that you can use for cooking and crafting. Most of the materials you gather are used to craft TMs in TM Machines in the Paldea region. Stantler Hair is just one of the many materials you can get, and it comes from the Reindeer Pokémon. This guide will show you how to get Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Where can I find Stantler in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Stantler is just one of the many Pokémon appearing in Scarlet and Violet from previous games in the franchise. While there are many Pokemon with multiple spawn locations, Stantler has few areas they like to call home. That makes Stantler pretty hard to track down. Luckily, you don’t have to travel very far to find this Pokémon that roams the fields of Paldea.

As shown in Stantler’s habitat data, there are only three locations where you can find this Pokemon; Area One of the Southern Province, Area Five of the Southern Province, and Area Three of the Southern Province. All of these locations are where Stantler can spawn, with South Province Area One being one of the earliest you can access. Stantler is fairly common in the area south of Artazon and can appear at any time of the day.

If you want to collect Stantler Hair, you have to fight Stantler in the wild. Each time you defeat or capture a wild Stantler, you’ll receive up to three Stantler Hairs, which will be added to your growing collection of materials. You can also get Stantler Hair via Auto Battles and Tera Raid Battles. You can use this material to craft TM025 Facade and TM 129 Calm Mind as long as you have the other required materials.
