The Pokémon Materials you collect are primarily used to craft TMs so you can teach your Pokémon new moves. There are many Pokemon that make their first appearance in Scarlet and Purple, with Squawkabilly being one of them on the list. This Pokémon resembles a parrot and can appear in a variety of colors. You won’t find Squawkabilly in many places in the Paldea region, but it’s an easy Pokemon to find as long as you know where to look.

According to Squawkabilly’s habitat information, you can find this Pokemon near towns throughout the Paldea region. You can find this Pokemon shortly after completing the tutorial as it is outside of Mesagoza on the west side. You can find more Squawkabilly on the eastern side of the map near towns like Artazon and Levincia. Squawkabilly usually appear in small groups when they spawn and are not often seen alone.

Just like other Pokemon in the game, you must fight Squawkabilly in the wild to get Squawkabilly Feathers. Each of these Pokemon you defeat or catch gives you up to three feathers to add to your growing stack of materials. You can use Squawkabilly Feathers on TM Machines to craft various TMs provided you have unlocked recipes that require them.
