How to get Slowpoke Claws in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As you explore the Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll collect various materials that you can use for crafting. Most of the materials you gather come from Pokémon and are used to craft TMs at TM Machines located around the map. Slowpoke Claws are just one of the many materials you can find in the games, and they come from the stupid Pokemon Slowpoke. Here’s how you can get your hands on some Slowpoke Claws in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Where can I find Slowpoke in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Slowpoke is one of the original 150 Pokemon that reappears in scarlet and purple. This Water-type has evolved into a Water/Psycho-type over the years and can be found in a few locations in the Paldea region. If you’re looking for these Pokemon, you can find them before completing the tutorial as long as you know where to look.

Slowpoke can be found near water and mostly near beaches. Early in the game you can follow the river near Los Platos to a small beach where Slowpoke can spawn. Later in the game you can find this Pokémon on the beach south of Levincia. You can even find Slowpoke around Lake Casseroya in the northwest of the map.

Just like other Pokemon in the games, you can get Slowpoke Claws by fighting Slowpoke in the wild. You can also later get Slowpoke Claws from Slowbro. Each time you defeat or catch a Slowpoke or Slowbro, up to three Slowpoke Claws will be added to your material collection.
