Power Armor is one of those things that you may or may not use as you wander the Appalachia wastelands in Fallout 76. There are many advantages to using this heavy armor, but there are also some disadvantages. No matter who you are, you most likely entered one of these colors at some point during gameplay. Unfortunately, the game tells you how to get into these suits. They don’t tell you how to get out. How to get out of Power Armor in Fallout 76.

How to enter and exit Power Armor

Power Armor is pretty straightforward, and the game actually gives you a prompt when you walk up to a Power Armor to let you know how to get inside. Before stepping into a Power Armor suit, make sure it contains a fusion core. Without one, you can’t use the armor at all.

To enter power armor, you must press the X button on PlayStation, the A button on Xbox, and the E button on PC. This will start a short cutscene where the camera enters a third-person POV as your character steps into the armor. Once inside the Power Armor, hold down the key you used to enter it. This will start a similar cutscene showing your character stepping out of the armor.

Power Armor is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal in Fallout 76. These powerful suits of armor greatly increase your damage and energy resistance, allowing you to survive even the Scorchbeast Queen’s most devastating attacks. These armors also prevent you from taking fall damage. If you’re in the third-person perspective, you can even watch your character perform a superhero landing when falling from a great height. Finally, you get increased carrying capacity while wearing the armor as it boosts your strength.
