After you have some Ancient Debris, melt it in a Furnace to create Netherite Scrap. Usually this is where you can start crafting your armor and tools, but not in this case. You need to take this scrap and turn it into Netherite Ingots. To do this, combine four Netherite Scraps with four Gold Bars. There is no specific recipe for this craft; Just place them in individual squares in the grid.
After you have at least one Netherite Ingot, you will need a Forge Table. Place any diamond armor or tool in the left slot and the ingot in the center slot. This turns it into a Netherite item, giving it better durability and attack power in the tool chests. In addition, any enchantments you had on the item will carry over to the Netherite version.
It’s going to take a long time to find all that gold, ancient rubble, and diamond, but it’s definitely worth the investment.
