Halo infinity will finally get some form of co-op for his 343 Industries campaign announced today. It will be playable as onOne of those “technical flights,” which is basically just a beta release, is the same method the studio used last summer to get players into the first multiplayer tests of the first-person shooter.

Boarding one of Halo infinityThe technical flights of are fairly simple. Go to first the Halo Insider website. Enter your email and some details about what devices you’re playing games on (including the resolution you’re playing at if you’re on Xbox). Then enter the days of the week you can play. Last summer’s technical multiplayer flights took place over three different weekends, from Thursday evening to Monday morning.

343 Industries says invites for the campaign’s co-op flights will begin sometime in July, with the full release of network-based co-op coming sometime “later this year.”

Halo infinityCampaign co-op has been a long time coming, and its imminent arrival will finally add a series staple to the latest entry. Since debuting in 2001 gloriole has always allowed multiple players to tackle its narrative campaigns. Even if it’s 2015 Halo 5: Sentinels got rid of the split-screen option, it still supported online fireteams.

Halo infinity, the first in the series to feature a (largely) open world, should launch with support for a co-op campaign. But in August 2021, 343 Industries delayed the mode, and said it would be available in the second season of the game. The absence was felt strongly afterwards Halo infinity kicked off his campaign in December 2021 with a series of challenging encounters that felt explicitly designed be tackled by two or more players. Some longtime fans were stuck. Even Wendy’s (yes, same fast food chain with arguably the best chicken nuggets) went into the roasting.

In April 343 branches outlined the plan for the second season. Although most observers expected co-op to be available from the start of the season, 343 said it would release online co-op later in the season.a popular automated fan-made Twitter countdown bot has estimated the date to be mid-August – with split-screen at an undetermined later date.
