How to get Gomamon in Digimon Survive?

Unlike most other wild Digimon, you don’t recruit Gomamon by bargaining with him during battle. Instead you have to advance to a certain point in the story, after which you can find and help Gomamon to add them to your list. How to recruit Gomamon

You encounter this recruitable Gomamon in part 3 of the story after fighting Fangmon on the dam. During this time you must go to the forest outside of the school where you will encounter Kunemon. After learning how to decode Kunemon’s moves, they will guide you to a new area called Spider Lily Forest where you can find Agumon, Falcomon, and Labramon.

The Digimon in your party will warn you to search the area carefully, but Labromon seems to think the source of the noise isn’t dangerous. Upon examining the patch of grass, you’ll find an injured Gomamon that’s probably hiding from you. At this point, you’re working to heal the Gomamon’s wounds. This wins the Gomamon over and puts them on your list for good.
