Cetoddle was a Pokémon first introduced with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This adorable little Pokémon is groping around in the colder parts of the new map Paldea. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet also added new crafting features, specifically ones that allow players to craft their own TMs, or tech machines. To craft these, you need certain materials that were also introduced with the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Where to find Cetoddle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Cetoddle is an Ice-type Pokémon, which generally means they can be found in colder climes. This is important to note, as you’ll need to track down Cetoddles if you want to get Cetoddle Grease to craft your TMs. TMs are disposable items that teach your Pokémon a powerful new move to use in battle.

A cetoddle closely resembles a snowball mixed with a narwhal and is obscenely cute. It’s also the only Pokemon that can provide you with Cetoddle Grease. Cetoddle is primarily found on Glasdeao Mountain and can be encountered in groups, which are perfect if you want to collect a lot of Cetoddle Grease.

To get Cetoddle Grease you have two options. You can either catch a group of them, which will give you about three Cetoddle Grease per catch, or you can fight them. Fighting is more resource efficient and gives you Exp points and can be less frustrating. If you choose to fight, however, you will get less Cetoddle Grease per fight.

There are two types of battle modes that you can participate in, normal battles and auto battles. Auto battles require you to eject your Pokemon and allow them to fight in the wild. You can throw them out with me “R” button and they will attack everything around them until they lose too much HP or find an enemy they can’t defeat.
