How to get Aether Wings in Rogue Legacy 2

Rogue Legacy 2 features a brand new art style, difficulty-affecting modifiers, and a wide variety of new traits and some sneaky returning ones. Outside of the main castle, several biomes are home to new enemies and boss encounters. These areas are usually restricted and require powerful new abilities to open. This guide explains how to find Aether Wings and what they do.

Find the Aether Wings

Finding these different artifact dungeons is a little tricky as the lock is randomly generated with each run. Usually this artifact is located in the north of the castle. Once you see green candles in a room, there’s always an artifact nearby. Once you’ve finished talking to the statue, you’ll be put into a swing test.

Once you’ve performed the Momentum Test power, you’ll gain the ability to sprint into the air. The key to completing this dungeon is the spin jump and air blast. You’ll familiarize yourself with the Air Dash before you start the level in earnest. In each room, all enemies must be killed or navigated through tricky platforming sections. Even though this is a secret dungeon, death here will end your run forever.

When you are in the last zone, approach the statue and complete the dialogue to get the Aether Wings. This upgrade will persist on each run going forward, and new regions will be unlocked with this ability.
