As you make your way through the slums in Stray, you will receive a tracker that needs Elliot to fix. You walk down the street from the bar to the bright red door, scrape inside and talk to Elliot. Unfortunately he doesn’t help you because he’s too cold. It’s still baffling how he got so cold, but that doesn’t matter. You need to get Elliot a poncho handknitted by grandma. Help a poor robot, yes?

How to get the electric cable

The first step to getting the poncho is to get the electrical wire that grandma uses to make all of her ponchos. The electric cable is sold by the barterman who lives to the right of the guard. If you talk to him about the electrical wires, he’ll tell you he wants a bottle of Super Spirit Detergent.

To get the Super Spirit Detergent, go to the Laundromat. This can be found by going down the stairs in front of the guard and taking the path on the right. On the outside of the building you will see an advertisement for Super Spirit Detergent as well as a neon sign.

Use the various metal pieces and air conditioners to reach the laundromat roof. When you reach the roof you will see two robots throwing cans of paint across the gap separating two of the roofs. Interact with the robot throwing the cans and meow at the right time to make it drop a can. This causes paint to splatter outside the laundromat. The owner will step out and start cleaning.

Head back out onto the street and head into the newly opened Laundromat. Once inside, jump onto the table by the door. You will find the super spirit detergent on the table. Take the detergent to the barterman to get the electric wires.

How to get the poncho

Getting the poncho is much easier. Now that you have the electric wires, follow the street with the bar all the way to Grandma’s shop. Give her the electric wires. After a few moments, she will give you a poncho. Bring the poncho to Elliot and he will now help you with the tracker.
