How to find Vista Point: Daunt in Horizon Forbidden West

To find Vista Point: The Daunt in Horizon Forbidden West, you’ll first need to find The Daunt’s Vista Point Tower, about 180 steps south of Chainscrape, away from the Charger site, between two campfires. Approach Vista Point Tower and hold R3 to use your Focus on it and get an image clip.

You should now be able to do a Vista Spot search in your active mission fragmentation image, although all that will tell you is the location is somewhere near Vista Tower. In fact, it’s very close – Vista Point: Daunt is about 50 steps northeast of Vista Point Tower in The Daunt. Head northeast of the river and you’ll soon find a small stone structure that used to be one end of a bridge over the river. Stand at the southern edge of that structure, face south and activate your Focus, then align the image piece with what’s in front of you. This will explore Vista Point: The Daunt, complete the quest, and add the Vista Point: The Daunt section to the Collectables in your Notebook.

The text log in your Notebook will tell you that there was once a National Park Lodge at the site. You can come back here to activate Vista Point and see the Lodge as before whenever you want.
