AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative throws this classic detective scenario at you when you visit Tokiko in her office. This is a behind closed doors crime thriller with no one entering or leaving the room for hours and yet it has met its untimely end. After questioning her bodyguard long enough to confirm his story, it’s time to get to work.

As you begin your investigation into the half-body serial killer’s murder of Tokiko, you’ll have the opportunity to wander around the room as Ryuki and explore your surroundings. You’ll quickly come across the moving statues flanking her desk and the infrared beams being shot across the room. You’ll need to switch between normal, infrared, and X-ray vision to pick up all the clues in the room, such as: B. the hidden numbers on the front of Tokiko’s desk, which only become visible when you look at them under X-. rays.

Checking the wall behind the desk also requires switching between vision modes. Normal viewing reveals the well-known Nonuple-X design on the wall. Switch to x-ray vision and you’ll see the keyboard hidden behind the design. Finally, look at the design with infrared vision and you will see the seven squares glowing with electrical energy. We’ve got everything we need to uncover the keycode in Tokiko’s office, but we’ll need to look around a bit more to get to this point.

Finish your investigation of the room by checking the statues that flank the desk, uncovering the rails that allow them to move, and confirming a few facts about Tokiko’s corpse himself. When you’ve checked everything you need, the game moves on to the reenactment part, where Toma and Ryuki try to figure out how the killer got into the room undetected.

Toma will ask Ryuki how he plans to put the statues in place. The correct answer here is “Use Force”, but there is no penalty for answering both questions, other than Toma swearing at the young detective. Soon she will ask him for the code for the keyboard that was behind the Nonuple-X design on the opposite wall.

This part of the investigation isn’t immediately obvious, especially since you can’t view the images saved during your search of the room. The key is the Nonuple-X design, which matches the layout of the numbers on Tokiko’s desk. If you try to answer a few times and give Toma the wrong answer, she will scold you and put the two designs on top of each other as shown below.

The key to revealing the keycode in Tokiko’s office in AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is the alignment between the boxes at the bottom of the Nonuple-X design and the Xs that make up the design here. You need to do some basic multiplication here to figure out the correct sequence for the code.

Multiply the numbers in each column and enter them into the keyboard in the order given. If you do this – and remember that every column ends with a zero as a zero – you get the following sequence:

4 9 0 1 0 9 5

This will give you the correct keyboard code in Tokiko’s office in AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative, allowing you to further advance the story and get a little credit from Toma for your efforts.
