How to find and complete the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment domain in Genshin Impact

Raiding Domains is an important part of Genshin Impact’s gameplay loop. They are among the main sources of valuable resources, Mora, and most importantly, Relics. Therefore, players will try to spend their resin wisely and choose which domains to hit for which character or even day of the week. One of the new domains added to Sumeru as part of Patch 3.0 is called the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment. It is considered a domain of blessings, meaning it is the type of domain that bestows artifacts upon completion and spending resin. In his guide we will explain where this domain is located, how to get there, what awaits you inside and finally how to defeat it.

Where is the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment Domain located in Genshin Impact?

The Tower of Lonely Enlightenment is a Domain of Blessings found in Avidya Forest in Sumeru, just northwest of Cinnabar Cliff or due west of the outer edge of Chasm’s Maw.

How to get to the Domain of Lonely Enlightenment

There are three main ways to get to the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment. The domain itself sits at the top of a series of cliffs and hills, so while you might see the icon on your mini-map, it might not be immediately clear how to get there. Luckily, there are two teleport waypoints and a Statue of the Seven relatively nearby that you can use – north, west, and south of the domain entrance.

The most likely teleport point for you would be the Statue of the Seven as it is east of Gandharva Ville. From there, climb the cliff directly east, and then continue north, up each successive cliff face. When you reach Cinnabar Cliff, continue north until you reach the domain entrance.

The next likely teleportation option would be the Teleport Waypoint to the west, near Gandha Hill. From this, head northeast until you pass the cliff, and then east, climbing three consecutive cliffs that will then lead you to the domain entrance.

Finally, the closest teleport waypoint to the entrance is the one you’ll be least likely to have unless you’ve done some independent exploration beforehand, as not many quests would take you down that path. If you have it, you can still use it to teleport there and just take a short walk south to reach the domain entrance.

The Spire of Solitary Enlightenment Domain in Genshin Impact

The Spire of Solitary Enlightenment has four different levels of increasing difficulty for players to participate in. Within the domain, the group must face various hermit enemies – these desert-dwelling mercenaries from Sumeru’s drylands. Players would have to be of a certain Adventure Rank to even enter any of the Seven Senses, as each level in this domain is called, which are 30/35/40/45.

The Spire of Solitary Enlightenment domain is currently the sole source for the Deepwood Memories and Gilded Dreams artifact sets. Considering the enemies inside, we suggest you bring a party with Electro, Cryo, and Hydro elements. The fourth element can be anything, but given that the new Dendro element is as strong as it currently is, it would be our recommendation for fourth.

Ley Line Disorder

The ley line disorder of this domain is active on all four levels of the seven senses:

  • All party members Elemental Mastery is increased based on 10% of the entire party’s combined Elemental Mastery. This effect is updated every 20 seconds after recalculation.

challenge features

There is also a domain challenge for Seven Senses Level 3 and 4:

  • Place characters with high Elemental Mastery into your group to use the ley line disruption to increase the Elemental Mastery all party members.

Seven senses 1

To enter the first level of Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, you must be Adventure Rank 30. At this starting level you will be faced with:

  • 1 Hermit Sunfrost
  • 1 Crossbow of the Hermits
  • 1 Hermit Sword Dancer
  • 1 Hermit Ravenbeak halberd

It is recommended to set up a party of around level 59. Most of these enemies can be easily taken down with physical damage. However, the Sunfrost is the most dangerous enemy, but also very vulnerable to cryo damage, so bringing some of these into your party is a good idea.

After defeating them, you can use 20 Resin to get 100 Adventure EXP, 1850 Mora, 15 Companion EXP, and 6-7 3-Star Artifacts and/or 0-2 4-Star Artifacts depending on your luck .

seven senses 2

To enter the second level of Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, you must be Adventure Rank 35. When you reach this level you have to beat:

  • 1 Hermit Daythunder
  • 1 hermit desert clear water
  • 1 Crossbow of the Hermits
  • 1 Hermit Sword Dancer
  • 1 Hermit Ax Vanguard

It is recommended to set up a party of around level 69. Again, most of these enemies can be defeated with physical damage. Note, however, that Daythunder and Desert Clearwater are very susceptible to Electro and Hydro elements respectively. If you bring both, you can use their elemental reaction for devastating effect against these opponents.

After defeating them, you can use 20 Resin to get 100 Adventure EXP, 2025 Mora, 20 Companion EXP, and 5-6 3-Star Artifacts and/or 1-2 4-Star Artifacts depending on your luck .

Seven senses 3

To enter the third level of Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, you must be Adventure Rank 40. When you reach this level you have to beat:

  • 1 Hermit Daythunder
  • 1 hermit desert clear water
  • 1 Hermit Sunfrost
  • 1 Crossbow of the Hermits
  • 1 Hermit Linebreaker
  • 1 Hermit Ravenbeak halberd

It is recommended to set up a party of around level 80. This time there’s a mix of brawlers and elemental casters for you to face. Combine everything you’ve learned from the previous two levels, and you’ll want all of the recommended items in your party – Cryo, Electro, and Hydro. Like we suggested, bring Dendro as a fourth to be safe, and you should be able to crush the opposition with ease – provided your characters are adequately leveled and equipped, of course. Also keep in mind that the domain challenge also applies at this level.

After defeating them, you can use 20 Resin to get 100 Adventure EXP, 2200 Mora, 20 Companion EXP, and depending on your luck, 4-5 3-Star Artifacts, 1-2 4-Star Artifacts, and/or 0 -1 to get 5 -Star Artifacts.

Seven senses 4

To enter the fourth level of Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, you must be Adventure Rank 45. When you reach this level you have to beat:

  • 1 Hermit Daythunder
  • 1 Hermit Desert Clearwater
  • 1 Hermit Sunfrost

It is recommended to set up a party of around level 90. For the final level of this domain, all you have to do is defeat the three elemental casters. But that’s harder than it looks at this level, as you’ll be bombarded by Hydro, Cryo, and Electro all the time. To make matters worse, you must defeat them within 6 minutes. However, you can still do it with the recommended element composition for your party. It’s just more important to get the right reactions to the right enemies. So you want to hit Daythunder with Electro, Desert Clearwater with Hydro, and Sunfrost with Cryo. And as with the previous level, remember that the domain challenge is in effect here too.

After defeating them, you can use 20 Resin to get 100 Adventure EXP, 2525 Mora, 20 Companion EXP, and depending on your luck, 3-4 3-Star Artifacts, 2-3 4-Star Artifacts, and/or 1 -2 to get 5 -star artifacts.
