How to fast travel in Tower of Fantasy

Fast travel is one of those basic skills that you get in most games these days, so you don’t have to run everywhere. This system usually differs depending on what game you are playing. Sometimes you teleport to safe houses, while other times you can travel between rest areas and points of interest. In Tower of Fantasy, the fast travel system is a bit more futuristic and comes in the form of space rifts.

How to fast travel in Tower of Fantasy

You’ll first be introduced to the game’s fast travel system when you help Shirli repair the broken room rift in Astra, the game’s starting area. Shirli will then use the rift to teleport to another area and back to test it. Unfortunately, she tells you that you can’t fast travel until you unlock two points.

A little later in the game you will be introduced to the map. This is the tool you need to travel fast. Once you’ve learned how to pull up your map, which is what the M key is when playing on PC, you can start choosing spacerifts to teleport to. Space Rifts look like warp pads on the map.

If you want to teleport to a space rift, you must first unlock it. You always have access to one that you helped fix. To unlock others, you must visit the location on the map and interact with the Spacerift. This will enable it for future use. Don’t worry – you can see both inactive and active Space Rifts on the map to make them easier to find.
