How to evolve Snorunt into Froslass in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Snort is another Pokémon you can catch in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It has appeared in other games in the series and remains an adorable multi-player favorite. Similar to other Pokemon in the game, it has an evolution, but it becomes one of two forms. One of those forms is Froslass, and getting this Pokemon can be a challenge. Here’s what you need to know to evolve Snort into Froslass in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How Snorunt evolves into Froslass in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

There are a few requirements that you must meet if you want a Snorunt to become a Froslass. The first thing to do is make sure you catch a female. If you catch a male Froslass, it won’t become a Froslass. Instead, it evolves into its other form, Glalie. Finding a female is important and they don’t seem to pop up as often as the males, so this part will take some time to look for one in the wild. You can check every place where Snorunt can appear naturally, namely in the northern regions of Paldea.

If you have a Female Snorunt that you want to evolve, the next step is to give her a Dawn Stone. These are much more difficult to find and will take time to track down in Paldea. You can find a Dawn Stone for sale at the Proto Marinada auction. A handful of them are scattered throughout the wilderness, but the auction house might be a good choice. Unfortunately it is random.

When Snorunt evolves as a female with the Dawn Stone, it becomes Froslass and adds another completing Pokémon entry to your Pokédex.
