If you like Bird Pokémon, you’ve probably thought about adding Braviary to your team. This Flying and Normal Pokémon will be able to beat up Grass and Bug Pokémon pretty well. Before you can have it, however, you must level your rufflet, its original form, to allow it to evolve. It can be a long way, but we definitely think you should consider walking it down. Here’s how to get Rufflet to evolve into Braviary in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

At what level does Rufflet evolve into Braviary in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
In order for Ruffle to evolve into Braviary in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, you need to raise it to level 54. This makes it one of the highest leveling progressions in the game and can take quite a while depending on when you add Ruffle to your party. However, if you choose to pull it off, you’ll get a powerful flying Pokemon with high attack stats that you can take advantage of. As it evolves, it will attempt to learn the Superpower attack, a powerful combat attack that lowers the target’s Attack and Defense stats.
Braviary is weak against Electric, Ice, and Rock attacks, but strong against Bugs and Grass. It’s totally resistant to ghost and ground movement, so there are a few areas that will struggle against that. We highly recommend trying out Braviary if you’re considering it. It’s a useful creature to have on your team for most battles you’ll encounter.
For the quickest way to level up your rufflet, we recommend keeping it near the front of your group. It will gain experience as long as it hasn’t passed out. It will gain more as it fights, or you can give it rare candies or EXP candies. However, that might result in it having fewer stats, so see if that’s the right move for you.
